I’m Adie, a tattoo artist at Renaissance Tattoo in Rickmansworth. I’ve been tattooing since I started a traditional apprenticeship in 2004, and my graphic design background shapes how I approach every piece: with a careful eye for composition, detail, and how a design sits on the body.
I’m particularly drawn to intricate fine-line work, black and grey, and semi-realism. I also enjoy taking on a wide variety of ideas, from striking colour tattoos to detailed, custom designs based on your references and story. Whether you have a clear concept or just the beginnings of an idea, I’ll work with you to develop a design that feels personal, well considered and made to last.

I’ve been tattooing since 1996, and over the years I’ve had the privilege of tattooing at international conventions, winning multiple awards and working alongside some of the tattoo world’s most respected artists. I put my heart into every piece I create, and I want each tattoo to feel thoughtful, personal and full of character.
My love of art and creativity led me to tattooing, and nature continues to inspire much of my work. I especially enjoy tattooing flowers, birds, insects and other nature-inspired designs, as well as gemstones and crystals. I also specialise in intricate dotwork, where I can explore delicate detail, pattern and texture.
I take time to understand what each tattoo means to the person wearing it, as well as what they want it to look like. When I’m not tattooing or spending time with my four daughters, I volunteer my artistic skills for a children’s charity and draw and paint whenever I can.
